Scout Day at Sully Historic Site 10 am - 3:30 pm. 3650 Historic Sully Way, Chantilly. 703-437-1794. (SEE Scouts, Sully Historic Site.) $10, plus purchase your own Sully patch for an additional $4.

Early American Games – No Batteries Required! Sully Historic Site 11 am - 3 pm. 3650 Historic Sully Way, Chantilly. 703-437-1794. During a visit to Sully, run off your energy playing relay games, hoop and stick, graces and tag. Learn how 18th and 19th century children enjoyed the outdoors. House tour available at a separate cost. Games $2, make a take home project for $2 per craft.

Early American Arts and Music at Sully Historic Site 11 am - 3 pm. 3650 Historic Sully Way, Chantilly. 703-437-1794. Entertainment is part of everyone’s life. How did the Lee family and African-American slaves spend their non-working hours? Learn about music, dancing and storytelling. House tour available at a separate cost. Program $2, make a take home project for $2 per craft.

Early American Textile Work at Sully Historic Site 11 am - 3 pm. 3650 Historic Sully Way, Chantilly. 703-437-1794. Early Americans made their own clothes, and made the cloth, too. Learn how to spin, sew and dye fabrics and take home an historic souvenir. House tour available at a separate cost. Program $2, make a take home project for $2 per craft.

Sully’s Spring Ventures at the Quarter 1 pm - 4 pm. 3650 Historic Sully Way, Chantilly. 703-437-1794. Tour the slave quarter site where three cabins housed several African American men, women and children. Discover the archival and archaeological clues that led to the construction of Sully’s representative cabin in May of 2000. Visit the slave quarter garden and help plant gourds, melons and cowpeas for the summer harvest. Peek inside the cast iron pot and see what’s cooking. Take home a Sully seed packet and start your own garden at home. Guided tour included. Reservations required by 4/14. $6/adult, $4/senior and child.
